What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 model focus and core capabilities

Seedance 2.5 image-to-video animates one supplied image with a written motion brief over clips up to 30 seconds. The image establishes the starting composition; describe the subject action and camera path instead of treating the still image as a complete motion plan.

The RequestBeam Seedance 2.5 online tool and API

Upload one PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 10 MiB through the authenticated RequestBeam workspace, then wait for the returned media URL before generating. This input uses the first_frame role and requires adaptive aspect ratio. It does not include a last frame or other reference media.

Seedance 2.5 capabilities and domain strengths

Give one clear starting image a coherent movement. Keep the subject recognizable and define which changes come from the camera rather than the object; a longer duration is not a guarantee of image fidelity.

The image establishes the opening composition

Upload one image after signing in. The upload returns a media URL that can be used as the required first_frame input. Local file paths, blob URLs and image data URIs are not submitted directly to the video generation interface.

Wait for the upload before generating

Describe the desired movement in a nonempty top-level prompt, including details to preserve and the intended ending. Use frame mode if the ending must be guided by a second image, or reference mode for other media.

Describe movement rather than redrawing the image

Choose an integer duration from 4 to 30 seconds or -1 for automatic duration, with 5 seconds as the default. The first_frame input requires adaptive aspect ratio. Resolution is 480p, 720p or 1080p, not 4k; generated audio is optional and the output is MP4.

Joint audiovisual generation and output review

Seedance 2.5 can generate sound with the image sequence. Describe ambience, effects and dialogue in event order, then inspect audiovisual transitions across the clip. Generated audio is an output switch; reference audio is a media input whose availability depends on the mode.

Seedance 2.5 generation performance and evaluation

Evaluate with the duration, input mode and sound settings intended for your actual clip. Pay particular attention to event order and continuity in longer sequences; demonstrations do not establish guaranteed quality, latency or success rates.

Starting composition and subject identity

Compare the video opening with the source image, then inspect subject shape, identity and materials across the complete clip. Adaptive framing and an input image do not establish exact pixel preservation.

Motion and camera stability

Check whether the subject or camera follows the requested motion. Watch for abrupt viewpoint changes, duplicated details and deformation during longer sequences, and check audiovisual timing when sound is enabled.

Review the opening and the full motion

Wait for the accepted task to report COMPLETED with output. Do not repeat generation to check an uncertain wait; follow the existing task using the original account.

Replace the image or simplify the movement when revising the scene. Switch to first and last frames for a designated ending image, or to multimodal references for multiple media inputs.

Record total duration, rework and actual cost

Use a consistent task set to record submission-to-result time, revision count and account charges. Distinguish waiting, task completion and human acceptance. Establish an acceptable quality and budget before increasing volume, rather than treating one wait as a stable service-speed estimate.

Seedance 2.5 text, image, frame and multimodal modes compared

The four Seedance 2.5 modes share the model and asynchronous video endpoint. Text defines a new scene, image-to-video starts from one image, boundary frames constrain composition, and multimodal references assign contributions to media. Longer output and larger reference allowances do not change those input roles.

Seedance 2.5 input modes and suitable tasks
Comparison Text to video Image to video First and last frames Multimodal references
Required input Nonempty text prompt, no media One image and a motion prompt One first frame; last frame optional At least one image or video reference
Primary guidance Text defines subject, action and camera One image defines the opening Images define opening and target composition Assets guide appearance, motion and sound
Suitable starting point A new idea without existing assets An existing image to animate A defined opening or ending composition Existing visual or audio material to draw from
Review focus Prompt adherence and temporal continuity Subject consistency and motion Boundary composition and intermediate motion Reference contribution, conflicts and sound alignment

Choose by the role of the media

Use image-to-video to animate one starting image, and frame mode when a designated ending image matters. Use multimodal references when an image guides appearance, or when video motion or audio also matters. Start with text-to-video when no media is needed, and do not copy another mode's media fields without checking their roles.

Compare video models on RequestBeam

Compare Seedance 2.0 using the same creative brief and acceptance criteria. This Seedance 2.5 interface supports up to 30 seconds, automatic duration and more reference media, but requires adaptive for boundary frames and does not provide 4k output. Check each configuration and account price rather than inferring cost or scene quality from version numbers.

Why use Seedance 2.5 through RequestBeam?

RequestBeam brings Seedance 2.5 online settings, the video API and account records into one workflow. Carry a tested prompt and media roles into application integration while preserving this model's duration, ratio and reference constraints.

Usage-based billing and model cost optimization

Reliable service at prices lower than official rates. Top up on demand and use what you pay for.

Check the price for your selected settings before generating; an unavailable price does not mean generation is free.

Image-to-video prompt: a gentle product orbit

Begin from the supplied product image. Keep the product stationary and recognizable while the camera makes a slow, small clockwise orbit over five seconds. Preserve the product silhouette, material and lighting. One continuous shot, no cuts, no text and no extra objects.

Original practice brief for one image that you supply, not a published image-to-video result. Try 5 seconds and 720p with the required adaptive ratio, and inspect subject consistency during the orbit.

Seedance 2.5 API FAQ

Which images can I upload?

Upload one PNG, JPEG or WebP file up to 10 MiB while signed in. The authenticated upload returns a media URL. Do not place a local file path or image data URI directly in the generation request.

Can I add a second image in image-to-video?

No. This mode accepts exactly one first-frame image. Use first and last frames for an optional ending image, or multimodal references for multiple input media.

Is image-to-video a different Seedance 2.5 model?

No. It uses model: seedance-2.5 and one first_frame image with the same asynchronous video API. The separate mode keeps the single-image workflow distinct from text-only and multi-input tasks.

Will the supplied image be reproduced exactly?

Do not assume exact pixel preservation. The image guides the opening composition, while the prompt guides movement. Review the opening and later frames before accepting the result.

Do the four Seedance 2.5 pages use different model parameters?

No. All four input modes use model: seedance-2.5, submit an asynchronous video task to POST /v1/video/seedance, and query GET /v1/jobs/{jobId}. Do not substitute a page mode, display name or another model ID for the API model value.

Which durations and output settings does Seedance 2.5 support?

The current interface accepts integer durations from 4 to 30 seconds or -1 for automatic duration, defaulting to 5. Resolutions are 480p, 720p and 1080p, not 4k. Ratios are 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9 and adaptive; first/last-frame inputs require adaptive. Generated audio is separate and output is MP4 only.

How should I troubleshoot authentication, balance or generation errors?

Check Bearer authentication, balance, seedance-2.5 model access and the required inputs for the selected mode, then verify media accessibility. Retain the full error and job ID, and distinguish submission failure, a pending job and task failure instead of inferring the cause from one numeric code.

How can I confirm the cost of Seedance 2.5 generation?

Check pricing for the resolution, duration and presence of video input in this page's pricing section, then confirm actual charges against account records. An unavailable price does not mean free generation; do not apply another version's rates or text-model pricing to this video task.
