What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 model focus and core capabilities

Seedance 2.5 combines audiovisual generation with image-guided composition over clips up to 30 seconds. In frame mode, the first image establishes the opening and an optional last image guides the destination. The prompt supplies the action that connects those compositions rather than treating two stills as a complete motion plan.

The RequestBeam Seedance 2.5 online tool and API

The RequestBeam Seedance 2.5 frame workspace requires one first frame and accepts an optional last frame. These inputs use boundary-frame roles and require adaptive aspect ratio. They are distinct from general appearance references, and the form accepts media addresses rather than uploading local files.

Seedance 2.5 capabilities and domain strengths

Use compatible opening and ending images to constrain a new moving sequence. A longer duration can accommodate a more gradual camera path, but it does not resolve contradictory subjects, lighting or perspectives.

The first frame is the required starting point

Supply a reachable HTTP(S) image URL or an existing asset:// image ID for the first frame. Describe what moves after this opening and which subject features remain fixed. Without a last frame, the prompt should explain the intended ending.

The last frame defines the intended destination

Add a last-frame image when a specific final view is important. Choose a composition that can be reached from the opening through the requested motion, and identify any object or lighting changes needed along the way.

Describe the transition between the frames

Describe the transition in order, including subject movement, camera travel and any pauses. Choose 4-30 integer seconds, or -1 for automatic duration; the default is 5 seconds.

Seedance 2.5 first/last-frame input requires adaptive aspect ratio. Resolution may be 480p, 720p or 1080p, not 4k. Generated audio is a separate optional setting, and output is MP4.

Joint audiovisual generation and output review

Seedance 2.5 can generate sound with the image sequence. Describe ambience, effects and dialogue in event order, then inspect audiovisual transitions across the clip. Generated audio is an output switch; reference audio is a media input whose availability depends on the mode.

Seedance 2.5 generation performance and evaluation

Evaluate with the duration, input mode and sound settings intended for your actual clip. Pay particular attention to event order and continuity in longer sequences; demonstrations do not establish guaranteed quality, latency or success rates.

Opening and ending composition

With adaptive framing, compare the output against the intended placement and perspective in each input image. Check whether the opening and destination remain recognizable without assuming their pixels will be reproduced exactly.

Intermediate geometry and transition plausibility

Review the middle of the clip as closely as its ends. Watch for changing object scale, newly appearing features or implausible travel. More seconds should support the transition, not hide an unstable composition between convincing endpoints.

Inspect continuity throughout the transition

Check the opening, every major motion change and the final view. When a transition fails, simplify the movement or choose more compatible frames before increasing duration.

Use boundary frames for a defined opening and ending. A separate camera-reference video or sound reference belongs in multimodal mode, not in the first_frame or last_frame image roles.

Record total duration, rework and actual cost

Use a consistent task set to record submission-to-result time, revision count and account charges. Distinguish waiting, task completion and human acceptance. Establish an acceptable quality and budget before increasing volume, rather than treating one wait as a stable service-speed estimate.

Seedance 2.5 text, image, frame and multimodal modes compared

The four Seedance 2.5 modes share the model and asynchronous video endpoint. Text defines a new scene, image-to-video starts from one image, boundary frames constrain composition, and multimodal references assign contributions to media. Longer output and larger reference allowances do not change those input roles.

Seedance 2.5 input modes and suitable tasks
Comparison Text to video Image to video First and last frames Multimodal references
Required input Nonempty text prompt, no media One image and a motion prompt One first frame; last frame optional At least one image or video reference
Primary guidance Text defines subject, action and camera One image defines the opening Images define opening and target composition Assets guide appearance, motion and sound
Suitable starting point A new idea without existing assets An existing image to animate A defined opening or ending composition Existing visual or audio material to draw from
Review focus Prompt adherence and temporal continuity Subject consistency and motion Boundary composition and intermediate motion Reference contribution, conflicts and sound alignment

Choose by the role of the media

Use image-to-video to animate one starting image, and frame mode when a designated ending image matters. Use multimodal references when an image guides appearance, or when video motion or audio also matters. Start with text-to-video when no media is needed, and do not copy another mode's media fields without checking their roles.

Compare video models on RequestBeam

Compare Seedance 2.0 using the same creative brief and acceptance criteria. This Seedance 2.5 interface supports up to 30 seconds, automatic duration and more reference media, but requires adaptive for boundary frames and does not provide 4k output. Check each configuration and account price rather than inferring cost or scene quality from version numbers.

Why use Seedance 2.5 through RequestBeam?

RequestBeam brings Seedance 2.5 online settings, the video API and account records into one workflow. Carry a tested prompt and media roles into application integration while preserving this model's duration, ratio and reference constraints.

Frame-transition prompt: from wide shot to close-up

Start from the first-frame composition and slowly push the camera toward the vase, reaching the closer view in the last frame. Keep the vase stationary and preserve its silhouette, material and background lighting. One continuous shot over six seconds, with no new objects, no text and no abrupt camera jumps.

Original practice brief for compatible wide and close-up images of the same vase. Try 6 seconds and 720p with the required adaptive ratio. Inspect intermediate movement rather than assuming boundary images guarantee continuity.

Seedance 2.5 API FAQ

Can I upload a local image here?

This video form accepts public HTTP(S) media URLs or existing asset:// IDs; it does not upload local files to a provider asset library. A local file path or image data URI is not a supported substitute.

Will the generated boundary frames be pixel-identical?

Do not assume that. Frame images guide the intended compositions, but details and motion need visual review. Check both the boundary frames and the intermediate clip before accepting the result.

Is a last-frame image required for Seedance 2.5?

No. This page requires one first frame and accepts one optional last frame. With only a first frame, use the prompt to describe the intended movement and ending; add a last frame when a specific final composition is important.

Can I mix boundary frames with video or audio references here?

This page accepts first_frame and last_frame images only. Generated audio can still be enabled separately. For image, video or audio reference inputs, switch to multimodal references rather than putting them into boundary-frame roles.

Do the four Seedance 2.5 pages use different model parameters?

No. All four input modes use model: seedance-2.5, submit an asynchronous video task to POST /v1/video/seedance, and query GET /v1/jobs/{jobId}. Do not substitute a page mode, display name or another model ID for the API model value.

Which durations and output settings does Seedance 2.5 support?

The current interface accepts integer durations from 4 to 30 seconds or -1 for automatic duration, defaulting to 5. Resolutions are 480p, 720p and 1080p, not 4k. Ratios are 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9 and adaptive; first/last-frame inputs require adaptive. Generated audio is separate and output is MP4 only.

How should I troubleshoot authentication, balance or generation errors?

Check Bearer authentication, balance, seedance-2.5 model access and the required inputs for the selected mode, then verify media accessibility. Retain the full error and job ID, and distinguish submission failure, a pending job and task failure instead of inferring the cause from one numeric code.

How can I confirm the cost of Seedance 2.5 generation?

Check pricing for the resolution, duration and presence of video input in this page's pricing section, then confirm actual charges against account records. An unavailable price does not mean free generation; do not apply another version's rates or text-model pricing to this video task.
